The Westwood High School band has new uniforms this year. They are great with charcoal grays and burnt oranges. I love the color combination and was inspired to make a quilt. That morphed into making 4 quilts - one for each band director. And if I am going to do four - they needed to be VERY EASY and QUICK!!! So here is the first one for Ms. Santa Cruz who is my son's percussion teacher. Took about 4 hours to make the top! YES!!! The pattern is Deanne Quill's "
Come Fly With Me". I love making this quilt. It has become my new Yellow-Brick-Road kind of quilt.
