Market Pictures!
This is the Civil War Block of the Month quilt that will be starting in January.
Some great ideas for minkee quilts - we will be working on a kit next week.
We were inspired at a school house to add a Friendship Triangles Club next year. Details to come....
My Boy
I don't get the chance to talk about Scott much - he has quilted one quilt - a t-shirt quilt made out of his favorite football shirts. But I took a picture of him where he is actually smiling and not gritting his teeth in the mom-is-taking-a-picture-of-me smile.
We have been watching him play football - this year he is left guard and on the kickoff return team. He has been playing a lot! He LOVES football! He is #64 in the dark blue jersey blocking for the ball carrier. In the bottom picture he is on the far right.

Lizzie in Apples

Many of you will remember this quilt that hung in my store for awhile. We die cut the apple core pieces out of Robert Kaufman fabric. I made the quilt for one of my daughter's bff's, Elizabeth, and here she is all snuggled in it! Elizabeth loves Japanese art, books, food, etc.and she loved the quilt.
Chisholm Trail Show
We love the Chisholm Trail Show - wonderful quilts! "My" quilt won 3rd place in the group category - I put the my in quotes because I only provided the event! This is the quilt the women that work here pieced and Leslie Sparks quilted for my 50th birthday. The fabric is from my favorite Fig Tree farics by Moda. Wonderful present, wonderful women! I am blessed!
