Cool Babies

This is Pamela who is due in September. Pamela and her mother-in-law had come into our store with a plaque that had been in her husband's room as a child, and they were going to replicate it in a quilt - here are the ADORABLE results. Too bad we don't have feel-a-vision on the blog.... the Indian has a minkee outfit and the cowboy's hat is fuzzy. I just love the mom's of today - we have seen the coolest nurseries created here!

Another Cute Outfit

It is the coolest thing when people come in wearing our fabric - looking so fabulous! This pattern is from the 1960's and made with Michael Miller's CX3639-black Zesty Zinnea! How cute!

Incredible Star of Bethleham Quilt Kit

Chris and Rex McCaskill of Castlepath Quilting quilted our newest kit. We will have it bound and the kits ready in about a week. It is the Star of Bethleham pattern from Laundry Basket Quilts. The fabric is from Moda and is designed by Edyta of Laundry Basket Quilts.

Back from the Beach

We are back from the beach (our annual Westerberg family vacation) where much fun was had by all. My nephew Derek almost had everyone convinced to get a family tatoo to commemorate a good time that was had by all...but not quite. No tatoos to report! :) This is Christie holding her new cousin, my great-nephew Wesley. Such a sweet contented baby!




So we are in the store getting ready for our Christmas in July sale this Saturday (from 9 to 5) and Sunday (1 to 5). Greg was in Dallas on a job, so I grabbed the kids and they helped me rearrange the store. Debbie has been working hard on models - these are this year's advent calendars from Andover/Makower fabrics. (And you just may want to check inside the pockets - Christie filled them with candy!)

Just Another Button Company's Snow Swag

My wonderful talented sister MaryAnn stitched this for me. The kit that includes thread, buttons and background is in the store. I had it framed at Hobby Lobby here in Austin.
