We had so much fun with the girls of Troop 80 at their end of year event. The girls had the option of sewing reusable shopping bags or a back pack. So cute!

Zaida's Shakespeare in the Park
I just had to share this beautiful quilt that Zaida Pavlovski finished. This is her "Shakespeare in the Park" quilt that she put together during Nancie Voegele's class. The colors were stunning with the black and red setting off the Snails Trail block. Thank you Zaida for bringing in your fabulous quilt, you did an amazing job.

Vintage Baby
Today we got to take a glimpse of the past when Clydene Gage brought in her adorable baby quilt. Clydene took these beautiful hand stitched 1930's blocks that her husbands grandmother made and put them into this adorable quilt for their grand baby on the way. What a beautiful way to pass on the family heritage. Thank you Clydene for sharing those memories with us.

Lots of Beautiful Quilts
Today was a day to see some spectacular quilts and I just had to share them with you. These ladies worked very hard on their quilts and gave them to Angela McCorkle to add her fabulous quilting to make them come to life and Angela delivered. These quilts are works of art and the quilting just enhances their beauty. Scroll down and see what they put together.
This is a Carpenter Star made by Sue Phillips, the colors are so pretty and I loved the frogs in the borders.
Look at the precious tulips, warms me up just looking at it.

After Market Bash!
Our BIG market bash was last Wednesday and can we just say it was CRAZY FUN! We had such a wonderful time talking about all the neat stuff we found at market and all the fun new stuff that is making its way to Honey Bees. Thank you to all our wonderful customers for making this night so spectacular!
We started the night with a massage therapist giving hand massages and talking about the new Sewline Cuticle Oil. This was a huge hit and the cuticle oil feels great, this would make a perfect gift for anyone.
Here is Dianne Demoing the new Creative Grid Hexagon Trim Tool. Hexagons are all the rage now and this fun little tool makes them so much easier.
Check out the tutorial here: http://www.creativegridsusa.com/products.cfm?item_num=CGRJAW4&ref=c
Oh did I say we had prizes? Yes, yes I did. We had a whole basket full of prizes for our wonderful customers. Fat quarter bundles, treat squares, patterns oh my!
Here is our Sweet Ann Marie showing us the new Stella Light and The Light Panel. I loved how the Light Panel made it so much easier to see what you were tracing and how it was thin and not bulky. The Stella light was way awesome with the touch lighting and the different shades of lighting.
Looky we have a Winner! Winner winner chicken dinner! Congrats!

Hi Sue Phillips!
Here is Catherine giving us information on soft and stable interfacing, this stuff gives bags and purses so much body. We also got some great travel bag patterns by Annie's in the store. Catherine made the duffle bag, come on in and check it out.
Dianne is still working hard at showing everyone the Hexagon Trim Tool, we just love creative grid!
